Williston Transporter
Various projects over the last 4 years were completed to modernize this ship. Projects have included:
Full repairs to the damaged hull which were completed along a Marine Engineer to meet Transport Canada Standards.
Full engine and drive removal.
Regular maintenance and operational assistance.
Supply various tradespeople including:

De-Barker
Project consisted of fabricating 2 conveyors, multiple platforms and installation of the new de-barker. The project was completed with 3 weeks of shop fabrication and 4 weekends for installation. There was 16 crew members on site for the main installation weekend. Trades people included:

Welders

Portable Tarping Station
Over a 5 month span, 7 mobile tarping stations were fabricated using tractor trailers and were shipped out to various locations across BC.

Tarping Station
The 3 bay tarping station was manufactured at our Prince George facility over a 3 week span, then was shipped to Elko, BC where it was installed by 4 tradesmen over a 5 day period.

Multistrand
Over a course of 6 weeks, Omineca’s journeyman fabricators, millwrights and welders utilized our 13,000 square foot facility to fabricate an 80,000 lbs Multi-Strand conveyor. The Multi-strand was shipped to a regional bio-mass energy plant during a facility upgrade
